How is it possible that a seller can list a pair of $50 boots for over $55,000? My guess is that it pushes them right to the top in the search engine. This is a seller with a big store and 6 digit feedback. Why are they allowed to do that and not be sanctioned for it?
I see it all over the place in many categories.

I've done it. Listed a $100 headlight for $1000. Ooops. One buyer was p.o'd that I was listing it for that price and ranted on about how that type of inflation was the problem for the world. Whatever.
Another sent me a message and said " hey bud I think you have a typo."
If you are that concerened, contact the seller and find out.
I appricated the buyer letting me know I made a typo.

I didn't see any boots in current or past auctions listed for 55K, so maybe they revised the listing. There is currently someone selling a pair of boots, though, for $1,000,000. Yes, one million dollars, and it is not a typo. The boots are supposed to be just like a pair that Rick Grimes wears in the Walking Dead. They aren't even Rick Grime's boots, LOL, just a pair like them. However, they do have a make an offer option, so maybe someone could get them for $800,000 if you you wanna take a stab at it.
