50,000 Free Listing Promotion for Store Owner's

This could be dangerous for the store owner's that watch their listing numbers as to not run over the limit with GTC.

I was happy to begin with, somewhat still am,  but got to thinking that in one month if I don't watch my numbers I could end up with a huge listing fee bill.

Thanks all for great info-- my ? I have an anchor store,books,sports;im allowed 10K. im listing more with this offer now. after apr30, if, im say 1000 over will they charge me .05 ea= 50.00?  no one on phones now!

I would say yes...but that's my thinking, best for find out from them to be 100% sure.

You get 50K additional free basic insertions for March and 50K for April.   Any listings that you set up in March and April will roll over in May on the same date that they were originally set up.

Whenever a listing rolls over, it will use up one of your free insertions if available and otherwise you'll be charged the regular insertion fee for a fixed price listing, based on the level of your store subscription on that rollover date. So in May if you have more than your store subscription allotment, you will be charged for each new or renewed listing beyond that number.

You are correct except I do not let that happen. I end those listings that are extra and  put them in my draft and use them to fill in for sold listing or listing I change to auction style. It is extra work but I am retired and have the time to do it. But thanks for the warning and stay safe.

You have 50K free insertions for April, too.  It's that May rollover date that could get expensive unless you end the listings before they renew in May.

Seriously....................  the mandatory fixed price GTC is now one year old.  

If auto relists incur unwanted relisting fees then someone is not "minding the store"🙄

50,000 free listings and all the stores I source from are closed indefinitely.

Yes, make sure you end those extra extra listings before the rollover date in May.  Unless they extend the promo or offer a new one you will be charged for those.  After that you can end a different group of listings the next month and rotate those you ended in May back into your inventory and continue doing that until you are under 10K.

Anything listed in March will probably not qualify for one of the 50K  free listings. I don't think it includes relistings, automatic or not.  Might be good to understand the limitations a few days before April 24th and not take that chance.

Whatever you list in March and whatever listing rolls over in March, will come out of your March 50,000. In April, any new listings you put up will come out of your April allotment, along with any listings from March that roll over in April. In other words, until the end of April, you don't have to really think about listing fees at all. At the end of April, you will need to evaluate your business to see whether you want to pay for listings that roll over in May, or whether you want to end them. But between then and now, just go ahead and list.
