5 Minute Delay

I had to wait almost 5 Minutes before being allowed to type my question. The field labeled as Body, was not ready to accept entry. On the bottom left corner a message was sitting there indicating something was happening in the background, as well as the top left showed these changing dots which is a symbology for WAIT. So I wait, and wait, and continue to wait. THAT'S VERY ANNOYING. This is a technical problem that has been happening for a while now. Those of us who use DSL should not be subjected to this long Time Delay.

You can always reboot the computer or simply try again later. Behind the scenes updates happen all the time.

That's not it. The web page(s) is too slow for DSL users. Several minutes wasted while it gets ready to accept entry. The programmers are making some very serious mistakes.

You should have seen how long things took connecting through a local ISP with a dial up modem!  Then when someone called my phone number, the internet would disconnect. 

Anyone else remember hitting the 'connect' button then going to perk some coffee?  Maybe bake some cookies?  LOL

I'm on cable internet and had have the problems for a little while now.

It doesn't happen all the time, but it happens more then it doesn't.
