Hi, I recently received 3 orders for some coins I listed. All 3 accounts are brand new with very low amount of reviews and the addresses are all within a 10km area. Is this some kind of scam, should I just refund and cancel the orders just to be safe? Thanks

You should ship what you listed and what the buyer bought and you sold. If these are the 2023 Canadian fifty cent half dollars you sold then you are probably pretty safe. Scammers generally do not go after $2 items but these days who knows. There are lots of buyers, and sellers out there that have minimal reviews.

Will ship them, but the fact that they were all in the same low population area is what concerned me at first

If you feel the need to investigate each and every customer for each and every sale, perhaps online selling is not for you.

Ship them, especially if they are low value coins.
You have sold a small number of items so far, and canceling 3 orders might drop your metrics down to the point you might get in trouble with eBay. It is definitely not worth having that happen, even if you did end up getting scammed out of a few inexpensive coins.

Probably just a coincidence but it could also be a scammer(s) testing things out on a low cost item that they will probably just keep and buildup some purchase history and feedback before they go after a big ticket item.

Ship. You have no valid reason to cancel. Three cancellations could get you suspended indefinitely (which is eBay speak for forever).

I do not know ANYTHING about coins. (when I have something my friend here help me out).
However, I do sell to collectors. They are very social, like to share what they found, and WHERE they found it.
(Which is Wonderful for the seller). I would expect that you may have sold something to someone in that area. Showed it off to their group, and now they are all checking out your stuff. Three of them found something that fits in their collection.
That is just my two cent.
I hope it works out for you
