Hello, ebay generated AI is publishing false information about my items. I have contacted CS ( took 1 Hr. ) . I have found numerous errors in their little descriptions. This is detrimental to my sales . They shouldn't post false info. Very disturbing. Please respond I keep trying to get answers from the community. NO SUCESS ! Thanks Susan

@stephen_peggy_59 are you referring to these AI generated item highlights on your listings?
If so, can you provide some item number examples of ones that you are seeing showing inaccurate info?
I checked a few and they seemed to be correctly pulling info directly from the item specifics or description.

Also checked a few of your listings and from what I saw, the AI matched things you stated in your descriptions. If you have some that are not matching, can you show us examples?
Looks as if these AI pop ups have been an issue for some sellers as I’ve noticed a couple posts on this recently. Not sure as sellers, what we can do about incorrect information that contradicts our descriptions as we are not the ones “adding” these AI blurbs?
Do we now have to add to our descriptions that any AI additions to these listings were not added by us and may be wildly incorrect? So many buyers already have short attention spans and just skim descriptions, if they read them at all. AI added garbage that doesn’t match will certainly lead to INADs!
I understand your frustration! Not sure how we protect ourselves from eBay added AI garbage after the fact?!?

It's something new that eBay just started, so a lot of people probably aren't even aware of it yet. I probably wouldn't have noticed if I hadn't read a previous post about it here on the Selling board.
There doesn't seem to be a way to remove it or to opt in or out of it. In my opinion, there should be since a lot of us - including me - would prefer not to have it.
There is also a discussion about it on the eCommerce Bytes website (that started after it was originally brought up here by someone else):

You're concerns aren't being ignored by the community; I just don't think anyone knows too much about it yet.
