After spending 1.5 hours with a CSR concerning dimishing sales, I received a purchase for an item, immediatly folowed by the buyer sending a cancellation request and a message stating
"I have no idea how i bought this i just randomly got an email saying i purchased it."
I quickly approved the cancellation, just chalked it up as a buyer remourse. No problem, just move on. But right after the same item sold, that seems strange, its not a hot mover. Its an auto part, and the buyer had feedback that shows she doesn't buy auto parts. We reached out to her and confirmed, she did not purchase. We cancelled again. Followed up with another call to ebay. 0 help again, didn't even care.
Not sure what to say about ebay, every day it gets worse and worse, sales continue to drop, fees keep increases and profit margins get lower.
The emails asking how our experiances with CSR's after calling starts with . "would you suggest a friend or colleage to sell on ebay" NO WAY, not anymore!
Stock keeps dropping, I think ebay is on its way out...its sad!

Maybe her account was hacked and the hacker didn't change the email address? The buyer needs to check her account, make sure name and address haven't been changed. She might want to change passwords and give Ebay a call.

If it's the same buyer, put them on your blocked bidder list.

Two unauthorized sales of the same item, someone must really need that particular item bad. :

Ebay needs to address their vulnerability where account are getting hacked.
I am seeing more and more of them in my searches with items that I recognize as copied and pasted from other sellers and other sites.
