15 Cent Insertion Fee?

I recently subscribed to the free trial of an eBay store for the next 2 months.

I have not even hit my 50 listing per month threshold, but I should have an extra 500 insertion free listings per month I believe.

I am now getting hit with 15 cent insertion fees on most things I list. What are these about? I can't find any documentation on these fees.

Here is a snip of me trying to relist 15 old unsold items.

EDIT, so I guess the premium store only gives you free Fixed listings, not auction... But I am still under my 50 listing  threshold...

Thank You

15 Cent Insertion Fee?

Stores are charged a listing upgrade fee for adding a "Buy it now" option to an auction-format listing. The fee depends on the amount of the BIN price.

Not sure what you mean by threshold of 50 and 500 extra free listings.  Stores subscribers don't get the 50 free listings that non-stores get.

EDIT:  You need to read the page that I liked to, which explains the fees in more detail. You do get free auction format listings but only in 13 specific categories.

Have you checked you billing account to see if you are actually being charged? Sometimes eBay shows the fees before you submit the listings but don't actually charge you.

I've noticed even with a store subscription, there are some categories you still get charged a insertion fee.

Each store has a limit on the BIN's and Auction style listings you can have and anything over that, you'll be charged.

Have a great day.

You should go to account and click on the fee tab to see your fee's. This will beak down the fee's and give a reason for the fee. If you are getting a insertion fee for fee that is 15 cents, then you may want to check you subscription level and perhaps call ebay to see why you are being charge listing fee's if you are under your free listings. It is possible these are not insertion fee's, instead these may be listing upgrade fee's. There are upgrades you can select when creating a listing like bold tittle, gallery plus, and several others. When you create a new listing some items get pre filled out based off of the last item you listed. If listing upgrades get selected then on the next listing you create the upgrades will be selected again till you unselect them. If not turned off they can add up fee's as you list items. This could be why you are seeing a fee when you list items but are under your free listings for the month.

The OP doesn't do Auctions and while they list in Business/Industrial they do not seem to list in the specific Categories that the "free" Store Listings do NOT apply.

I don't do auctions and I don't remember now what categories it was they wanted to charge me for BIN's.

The OP doesn't do Auctions ...

? The OP has 7 active auctions and 91 completed ones, nearly all in categories where they can't use their free Store insertions.

Whoops.......cleaned my glasses........not sure how I failed to see that.

You are correct, they are using the 250 "free" Auctions but in an unsupported category.
