I AM CONFUSED.In some places I read that the theshold for a 1099-k is $600 for 2026.In others It has $20,000 because of Herr Trump,s BIG AWFUL BILL,which is right,Thanks!

Depends on which state you reside in. But with that said, income is income.
You can run, but you can't hide.

Even without a 1099K, you still report your income.
It depends on your state.
Some states have a lower threshold then the federal level.

eBay will issue a Form 1099-K to sellers who meet both of the federal reporting thresholds: more than $20,000 in gross payments AND more than 200 transactions. This reverts the threshold to the original pre-2022 level, eliminating the previously planned lower limits.
eBay will issue a Form 1099-K to sellers in Wisconsin if they meet a lower, state-specific reporting threshold of $1,500 in gross payments, regardless of the number of transactions. This is lower than the federal threshold.

The $20,000. threshold is California...for 2025 doing taxes in 2026.
Don't forget to use deductions...12 months of wifi is deductible and 1/2 of your telephone monthly bill is deductible per H & R Block in California where I do my taxes.

Oh, my.
If you intend to ask about the "threshold" for Form 1099-K for 2026, you are something like 362 days early to really worry about that. Forms 1099-K for 2026 will be due to the IRS on January 31, 2027.
If you are in fact concerned with Form 1099-K for tax/calendar year 2025 -- the year that just ended two days ago --
eBay will be required to issue Form 1099-K to the IRS (and to sellers) when those sellers meet both of the following two criteria, for their sales during 2025, for eBay-reporting:
1. Number of dollars of gross earnings: $20,000 AND
2. Number of transactions: 200.
Those numbers ($20,000 in 200 transactions) are the federal reporting minimums ("thresholds"). Federal = the IRS.
You might live in a state that has lower 1099-K reporting requirements. In some states, the reportable gross earnings amount is $600, in at least one transaction. Some other states may require reporting after sellers earning $2,500. For sellers in those states, eBay will comply with those decreased minimums ("thresholds") and eBay will send Form 1099-K to the state income tax authorities and those sellers who have met those states' lower thresholds.
(BTW and FTR, I did not vote for any of this.)

Trump, nor the Big Beautiful Bill has anything, ZERO, to do with the IRS's 1099-K requirements, thresholds, or limits.
And your problem is.......

"I live in Wisconsin. I pat taxes on EVERYTHING I sell on Ebay."
Are you saying you pay Wisconsin income taxes on everything you sell on eBay? How does that work?
Is the state of Wisconsin that desperate in their control of people just trying to sell a few things on eBay?
Or are you saying you pay Wisconsin sales taxes on everything you sell on eBay?
If so, you're doing something wrong or you simply do not understand.
Buyers pay sales taxes. Sellers do not pay sales taxes at the time an item is sold on eBay.
"You must hide your income from Ebay!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
The IRS has their ways of finding you if you do not pay income taxes on income that is validly taxable.
Remember how Al Capone ended up in prison? All the violations of prohibition and murders meant nothing.
A Treasury agent studied his financial records and Capone was convicted of federal income tax evasion.

Seems like you ask this question every year.
Why rely on online randos instead of checking what the IRS has to say?

I also live in Wisconsin. Why are you so surprised that you have to pay taxes on money that you earn from your business?
The point is not to "hide your income" as that's illegal. The point is to deduct everything you are legally entitled to: inventory, postage, fees, and so on and so forth. That's something you really ought to get an accountant for.
I don't like Trump either - but the 1099-K has nothing to do with him. This is basic income reporting.
