I'm guessing they will be available on January 31 and not before.

I think it's still a little early. Today's the 24th; give it at least a week, until January 31 or February 1.
I am pretty sure that payers who are required to submit any version of a 1099 form (like eBay) don't have to send them until January 31. Back 35-36 years ago, when I had to manually type several 1099-R Forms (for people who closed their IRA accounts at the banking institution I worked for) -- those did not go into the mail until January 31.

1099K and otherwise forms must be mailed out by January 31. And that's likely when 99.9% will go out, so expect to see yours around the 8th to 10th.

Does eBay actually mail them? The rules state that they need to be available by the 31st. I would assume that you just download and print yours from the Payments page.

They mail them and make them available to down load online, back when I had paypal, I'd already have turned in all the info to my tax guy and file as soon as they put it online. Not with ebay, I have to wait for it to be available before I can give my tax guy the numbers, their year to date numbers never match the 1099

@heckofagame There's a setting on the Taxes pages under Payments tab "1099-K Forms Preference". The choices are Online Only or Online & Mail. I would imagine you would need to set up your preference pretty quickly as they'll be generating the 1099-K's soon.
