1099 form

I don't know if I should be getting a 1099 form from eBay. If so, should I have received it by now? Thanks for any advice.

eBay has a whole help page that explains the 1099-K.

https://www.ebay.com/help/selling/fees-credits-invoices/ebay-form-1099k?id=4794

"We'll provide you with Form 1099-K by January 31 each year if you've received payments above the minimum IRS reporting thresholds in the previous calendar year"

As for whether you get one, it depends upon what your gross receipts were and what state you live in.

I received my paper copy just this Saturday, but the digital ones for this year are not yet available at https://www.ebay.com/sh/fin/taxforms.

It's usually around the 31st of January or Feb 1st for them to appear.

Did you sell over $20,000.00? Did you have over  200 transactions? Do you live in a state with a lower or $600.00 threshold. Of couse all income should be reposted to IRS.

the local news tries to claim we should receive all tax documents needed by January 31, but I really think they just have to be post marked via mail by then.

I have yet to receive anything from anyone!
