1099-K Reported Numbers Do Not Match

Has anybody else recently got their 1099K from eBay and noticed that the reported numbers are doubled?

With the records I keep i had a good idea of what my gross sales would be this year. The #s that were sent on my 1099K however did not match my records or even the records on eBay own sales reports. My best guess is if you look at the first picture you'll notice how each "Box" is listed and then repeated. The Box 1a on the list 17,356.46 is the correct number. But if you look at the second picture Box 1a reports double that amount 34712.92. Who should I contact to get this corrected? Thanks

Yes. My 1099-K said my payouts were $31,000. I ran the Transaction Report and the Payout Report and they were within $10 of each other at $23,400. I did contact eBay and spoke top a Rep who told me that the 1099-K was correct with absolutely no explanation of the differences in the reports. Very poor.

Does anyone else notice that eBay is reporting profits on sale before they take their cut leaving us to pay for less than what we received? At least make get taxed less for what is really getting sent to my bank account.

1099k reports total/gross of the transactions (money that is being sent) and not your gross or net income

Yes, I received mine yesterday, and my 1099K reported almost double what my ebay printed sales report shows. Very frustrating.
