those item have limits on it and i did not know short would have to be on the list. yes i did read the trems

Well.... in all fairness, depending on the shorts and the person listing/buying them they may fall under 1) collectibles, 2) entertainment memorabilia or 5) art.... so... maybe

In other words, when you actually did the research and found what the fees are for selling here, you realized that selling shorts at a loss wasn't worth it.
High fees is a relative term. I find them quite bearable, even with my lower priced items.
