I have posted about this before. I can stay home and sell three items in a week with one day shipping. Or go away for a week, forced to use 10 day shipping when leaving for vacation on a weekend (otherwise the next available option, 5 days, puts shipping on the Friday we are still gone) and sell multiple items. Happens every time! At noon last Friday I made everything 10 day shipping. I've sold 5 items so far!
Usually mid way through the trip I change to five days, but I am tempted to leave it 10 this time. And tell you a secret, we never actually left! My back issues kicked up so I have significant pain walking. Then I woke up with my first migraine in years. Then the freaking 405 was closed because of fire and we decided not to be on the road for a vacation when thousands of people were just trying to find a way to work. Then through Facebook I connected with someone in NorCal with no electricity and bad air quality, so gave her our timeshare reservation.
I'm sorely tempted to not change my handling time back, at least until I hobble downstairs to prepare the items already sold for shipping. We were once gone 3 weeks so I had to use 30 day handling. Sold several items each week. Just sent a note making sure buyer saw the extended handling time. I either got no response, or a "have a good vacation" response.
