Lol the 1.00 auctions are getting lots of bids and still in the first 24. It is actually fun. Feels like Ebay 1999! Yes I will probably do more of these as I am enjoying watching people bid. Even if it's only a penny it's a bid. So what if I lose a little money. At least I am having fun and someone might have a fond memory of Ebay. 🤗

I don't know how long ago that was when you bid and lost, but I surmise it was a good twenty years ago. Still, you never know! It might pop up tomorrow! I have seen things that I lost pop up even if they are OOAK. I remember a doll auction I bid and lost. I moved on but in a year or so it came back up. I was curious enough to message and ask if they had bought it on eBay and they had. It was the same one I had bid on and lost but I had moved on.

I hope that pink elephant purse shows up here soon, and that you get it this time around.

I've been having good luck with auction lately too! I had given up on them a while ago. Been getting rid off lots of old merchandise & boosting sales a bit. Will keep trying to use up the 500 that come with my store.

I do 99 cent auctions once in a while. And yep, sometimes they work but sometimes they bomb.

Just be prepared to lose money and if you make money it’s like Christmas. It’s called loss leaders.

That's awesome, you go! Have you seen any improvement of BIN items since starting the penny auctions? Wondering if they are staying and looking around like you hope they do 🙂

Congrats - what works for some doesn't work for others - but you never know until you try right! Hopefully it will bring you better visibility and more sales!

Your posts have given me a lift!!! Seeing just a little of the fun factor returned to eBay helps offset some of the countless hours most of us spend doing this.

I am a little nervous about winning any of your auctions because it is too late in life for me to start wearing makeup, but just in case, I have come up with a solution. If I do win any, I will pay for them and have you donate them to a local women's shelter or other organization. Bruce

That’s great! Maybe I’ll go look again. You are doing great. I tried bidding on an item and was outbid several times. Maybe I’ll try later when it’s close to ending.

Actually my hair stopped growing. It has something to do with my health issues but if you have a solution listed I’m listening. I hope I’m allowed to ask, I mean it would be an eBay transaction.

Just a thought. I had something that, twenty years ago, showed up once. It was far beyond what I would pay for it. I kept searching on ebay and doing a google search for it. I had also researched what the original cost was. I found it through a google search and bought it. Now, all this time later, several of them are listed now, and this was an extremely low edition item. I think only 25 of them were made.

I just did an online search for pink elephant purse and a lot of results popped up. Maybe one of them is the purse you are looking for. I would search on Ebay and do the general online google search~and hopefully, like me, you will find what you want.

Well I do have a bid on another auction that is not a 1.00 auction. Also 2 sales so I am good with it. Posted a few more 1.00 auctions just because it's fun. I will have to figure something out. Maybe 1 or 2 $1.00 auctions a day so that there is maybe 10 or so a week. Should keep people interested because they will never know if it will be a 1.00 item or a 50.00 item. I figure should keep some coming back at least. As for bottom feeders, I dont think there is any such thing. A buyer is customer regardless of weather it's for 1.00 or 50.00. I mean think about it you have a 7.00 haircut on Tuesday. Lots of 7.00 haircuts but then this one needs color, that one needs a perm or highlight or maybe product. You've already built a reputation with this client what is the chance they will come to you for other things! Every 1.00 buyer is a potential customer for other things. 😊😋
