Why are buyers showing up with 0 feedback

They are signing in as guests ( creating a guest account) or new to eBay-- everyone has to start somewhere.  I remember my first purchase 17 years ago.  The seller was very kind and patient.

Some may just be guests that shop on eBay.  I get them all the time.  They pay, I ship and they're happy, however I don't believe they can leave feedback.  Not all buyers with 0 feedback are looking to scam.  Most want to buy.

That's true, but I'm wondering if the OP is referring to a current glitch in which, on some pages including the Active Listings page on Seller Hub, bidder feedback counts are being shown as zero instead of whatever their correct (higher) number is.

It's a harmless glitch as far as I can tell, and eBay does not seem to be in any hurry to fix it.
