number of drafts allowed and time limit for keeping them

Does anyone know for sure how many drafts you can make and at what point they are dropped?  Thanks.

I don't know the limit, but can tell you from experience that I have on occasion in the past had around 2000 listings in draft mode. They do expire after 30 days according to eBay, BUT I have found that draft mode listings lose their pictures after 2 weeks and by 3 weeks the draft mode listings are useless and cannot be edited or used. I have since found a better way and that is to use scheduled listings. As a non-store seller scheduled listings are free so I can use them at no cost and I can just keep extending the listing date. I still do use draft mode, but not to same extent that I did in the past.
