Hi, All
In the old days when we used HTML I had a link in all my ads to a Message Center. This is where I could have messages to my buyers about any issues I might be having. or wish them a happy holiday whatever it might be. I could change the message and it would change on all my ads. I have written eBay about this many times without any answer. It worked well when I was able to do it myself. I think it's a good idea that eBay should have it on its site. Maybe if more of us requested it they might do it. Better communication with customers always helps. What do you think.?

HTML doesn't work with search engines so ebay wants to eliminate them (they already say 'are you sure' when trying to 'edit' an older ad).
So, it will never be allowed and may eventually be gone for good.

I was thinking they would do it on their end. I know we can't use HTML anymore. Thanks for your reply.

If you just want to put a non-binding seasonal greeting in all of your listings, an image on an external server would do the job, but you would need to be able to control the name of that image so that the name always remains the same, while the image itself is changed on the server to the current message.
Another option is to bulk edit your descriptions to insert content and to remove content. eBay has the "add to description" part working, but the "remove" feature only works with plain, unadorned, text - but still an option if used carefully.
This third party bulk editing tool will allow more precision editing.
