Knowledgable ebay agent solved 3 problems for me this afternoon.!! As a seller for 20+ years still cannot understand why ebay insists on changing things without serious efforts to find out how many sellers will be negatively affected. Its always SURPRISE..!! We changed things, now you go figure out how to work around the changes.
1) Regarding PHOTO EDITING. Click on photo, then LEFT CLICK to bring up the editing features. ( I noticed that adding Video is not a separate option, so maybe you can grab both now with one operation.??.)
2) The LISTINGS SEARCH worked perfectly, now it is limiting for my purposes. I have two inventories, 1800 miles apart, so when ebay elimated item location years ago, I started to put codes into CUSTOM LABEL field and was able to sort and search for the inventory items as needed. Agent showed me the new way to do it. Seems to me instructions should be given on how to use changed features, not leaving it up to every Seller to try to figure it out.! (There used to be options in Custom Label: less than, equal to, greater than.
3) Purchase of item (with incorrect word in Title and deceptive photos) from a USA seller in NYC was bad. Item sent was not what I expected. A week of hassling over my RETURN REQUEST, I finally get a mailing label for shipping item to CHINA..!! I refused to do this, he offered me some $ to keep the useless item, which I refused. Then he finally agrees to full refund with no return when I tell him I will report him to ebay as Deceptive and Liar. Ebay agent verified that he did initiate a refund but it will be 3-5 days for it to hit my account. Beware.!!! Deception and Lying seems to be the new normal.
This morning I was ready "to throw in the towel" as an ebay seller. After the help from that ebay agent, I am good for the moment. Wonder what they will decide to redo next time around.??
