Trying to get an answer to this question forever and seems there is not one person in here that understands my question. I said nothing about bulk listing new items or making changes. Everybody knows that is accomplished by using ebays bulk lister. What I need to know is how to add (bulk list) a single PHOTO to 700 listings. Ebays bulk lister has no provisions for adding PHOTOS in bulk. Does anyone know of an app or program elsewhere than can do this. What do sellers of 10.000 items do when they have to add a photo to their listings? Surely there is a way other than listing one PHOTO at a time. Thanks

I do not think there is a way.
But I am curious. Adding the same photo to all your listings is an unusual thing to do. Why? What is so common to all listings?
@shipscript Can you help this seller?

Your title says "bulk listing"; and adding a photo to a listing is "making changes".
You want to do a "bulk edit".

I would think that using eBay File Exchange would be the way to do it. But I have never used File Exchange, only read about it here in the Tools & Apps forum.
@dollybeauty Can you help this seller with how to do this with eBay File Exchange?

If you have the original image for each listing, then yes, you could add an image to multiple listings.
If you do not have the original image, you will have to add each image individually.
If you do have the original image for each listing, on a image web host, you can create a very simple FileExchange upload file to upload the original image and the new image to each listing. You must reload the original, because eBay will not allow images to be self hosted and EPS hosted at the same time. So by 'adding' the original, both are self hosted, are copied to the EPS storage and become EPS hosted...ya, I know, but this is the way it is set up.
@shipscriptmay be able to use one of their routines to do this, but you would have to execute the process (there is a 'token' or password/permissions issue here). You would have to contact them to see if they can help. They do have server expenses and, their expertise is valuable. There may be a nominal charge for this service. I am sure that if Ship has the time available, you could work this out with them.

I think I understand the OP's delimma..eBay wants more than one photo of items in most all categories. Yet the OP's items are really not conducive to multiple images. What do you do? Take a picture on a white background? Take a picture of the item hanging on a wall? By adding an image of the reverse side, they can make eBay happy, and possibly increase their search rankings (by following eBay recommendations).
Other sellers have reversed images to do this. One, it really is not a seperate image and two, it is usually a violation of the original image copyright, and three this does not work for images with wordage on it.

Yes, I think you are very close, if not spot on, to what I want to do. I presently have 686 items listed (each with a different photo, and on the rear of each item, I will add a specific (but same) hanger. I will need to expose this type of hanger to my buyers VIA adding that same photo to each of the 686 items as a 2nd photo. Thanks, Dan

Just in case you do not know.
When posting code in a reply in a topic, the toolbar in the reply has a button with symbol </> called Insert Code. Clicking this opens a text box to paste your code in and is isolated from the post. The code may show as one long line with a horizontal scroll bar so use the enter key to break the lines of code in a more readable format.
<P>Sample code goes here in this box.</P>

You should know I know that 🙂
I can't use the full editor or toolbars at all on my phone and can barely use the plain text "quick edit" text box, which was how that reply was posted.
(Lithium doesn't play well with Opera Mini Browser on Windows Phone.)
It threw unspecified errors when I tried to post at first with the div and img tags (that I assumed were the mobile version of the HTML error annoyance), so I took a wild shot and tried wrapping the html tags in code tags - I screwed up, used < instead of [ to define the tags, and it posted but failed to produce the desired result.
I still don't know if I can use BBcode type [code] FooBar [/code] tags in the Forum quick editor.
(might look at it if I get a chance, but I doubt it - it is doing nothing here in the full editor)
I would prefer to have the old HTML editor back and format my replies myself manually.

I thought you would know which is why I had the disclaimer as my first line. 🙂
I posted anyway thinking that it would help others readers learn that the option existed.

Hey now, this is an excellent idea and will definitely give it a shot if all else fails. Thanks very much. Dan
