When posting an item for sale; When editing "Item Specifics" reverts back when putting in the UPC?

I post most of my items to sell using my IPhone. When editing the "Item specifics"; Why does the edits revert back to what originally was written when putting in the UPC? I couldn't find a clear answer to this online, and it's really frustrating when I'm all done editing, then I put in the UPC and it undos everything I wrote.  Could any sellers tell me how to prevent this? Thanks.

A UPC should prepopulate some item specifics that are defined by the UPC.  I can only suggest entering the UPC first, and then add or change any of the predefined item specs that were determined from the UPC.
