In the pass an ongoing issue with high dollar amount seller who had issue with Watcher and sending out offer. Some buyer took advantage of that situation. ( Will not go into detailed )
Problem Breakdown
Pending Offer within 48 hours or longer depending on the value amount.
Buyer: There is more issue regarding this, Will not go into detailed. As there are video explaining it
Result: You lose a sale if another buyer come along, it may be already too late as the buyer can purchase it somewhere else.
Can't edit or make changes within your listing once an offer on pending.
Identifying Watcher Only on PC Mode: You can only see partial of their username and their feedback record.
Seller issue With Buyer: If there a problem with the issue, you cannot control it or make a complaint to eBay service as they don't have the tool support it.
Watcher issue getting worst as many as mentioned and complain on thread over the years. They can be.
Re-seller
Competition
Seller on another platform if their inventory run out.
Higher risk of return rates
etc etc
Always check their history when dealing with high value item
New Policy update after hundreds of hours showing them the problem with the site. They finally fix the issue. Now we can see username once the offer has been declined and managed sending out offer. Like I mention I will get results for this issue if it takes months and months and talking to the right person. Effected 4/1/2024
