Variations

Hi,

 I have been trying to create variations for a couple of hours. When I get to the attributes, nothing seems to be working as it usually does. I have tried making new templates, nothing seems to work. I am using the Ebay listing tool and have never had this problem before today. Is anyone else having this problem?

@jps-creations

I have seen only one other similar complaint. eBay does weekly updates on Thurs night.  If this was a programming issue, we would have seen many others. They may have updated some javascript or the listing tool that you use. If your browser has cached the page, you may not be getting the correct modules loaded.

Try using your browser settings to clear your cache, and delete your cookies. sign off of eBay (probably not necessary), and sign back on. Then try again.

This is the best procedure to use, whenever you have an issue with eBay.

eBay is continually updating this site. Some advice given may have changed. Please reply to this thread, to let us know if this advice works for you. Variations

Thank you for the response .

 I did the cache/cookies.... twice. I ended up calling Ebay and they had no problem using Google Chrome ( I use IE 11 ) to do it. I have all the latest IE updates..... I downloaded Chrome and it worked. Looks like I will use it to create my variations.

 Is anyone else out there using IE 11  having or not having this problem?

Thanks again.

Variations

There were a lot of complaints about variations not working over the last week or two.

When I checked one of my variation listings it was broken in Firefox 31 but worked in Firefox 52. Those browsers NEVER change or update here - it is due to something eBay changed, and is definitely browser related. Still doesn't work in Firefox 31, and I suspect it never will again

(it has that feel I'm so familiar with of eBay "upgrading" the web technologies used on those pages to new ones that old Firefox 31 can't handle)

I suspect that may be the case with IE 11 too. (in other words - I don't think it is getting fixed - but it could also be a bug or unintended consequence of other changes and might get fixed)
