About a month ago 08-2021, I spent an hour listing about 50-60 comic books. When I got to the end the listing would not "update" I called eBay HELP line and was told nothing could be done and I would have to do the listing again, but they would looking the problem. So, I went through it again but listed only a few at a time so I wouldn't waste my time. Eventually, I ended up successfully listing the comics. I also slnce listed others. Yesterday, 10-12-21 I set up another variation listing spending an hour and a half doing so. Guess what! The listing failed to "update". After talking to the "IT HELP" desk they gave me a ticket and basically said "we can't help you". So, fair warning, watch out when listing a variation sale because eBay's HELP desk can't! List a few at a time so you don't lose a lot of your time and effort.

I'm surprised they even allow variation listings like that, since they are not variations.

Others have reported similar problems. If you are using the Business listing tool to create your variations, you might try switching to the new Unified lister. Another option is to start a variation listing with a single variation, and upload a spreadsheet through Seller Hub "Reports" to fill in the other variations. Then edit your revised listing to add the variation photos.

Thanks for the info. however you are talking greek to me. I only know how to input each comic book number and then the picture one by one. I will looking into the other methods you mentioned. 😀

WARNING Ebay variation listings do not work! When it does work it is extremely complicated. Stay away or list just a couple of items at a time and try to submit. That way you only lose a small amount of time.

Variation listings work great when they are used right.
