TurboLister crashing when calculating fees

Hi, I hope someone can help before I lose my mind.  I've been trying to upload listings on TurboLister, but it keeps crashing when calculating fees.  I have tried running as administrator, I deleted the program and re-installed it, restarted my computer.  Any ideas/thoughts to help me out?

Thanks!

@industrial-plc_com - Thank you for posting on this community board thread. I'm sorry that you are having trouble with getting your listings calculated through Turbo Lister.

When Turbo Lister has to close during a task, there are number of reasons for the program to do so.

Common shutdown would prompt a message such as "Runtime error". This message is not too details, but there are a few things that can be a cause of a "Runtime error".

- Corruption within the database.

- Too many listings/data within the user file can cause the program to run slow.

- Program not up to date.

Here are things that you can do to help the program run efficiently:

1. Clear out your "Activity Log" tab. Too many stored listings in this tab can cause the program to run slow. This can be the same thing as storing old listings within the "Listing Activity" tab.

2. Clear out old listings within the "Listing Activity " tab.

3. Compact your database by going to "Tools > Compact Database". This will help shrink your database to a smaller size to allow for better processing.

4. Install the latest updates by going to "Tools > Check for Program Updates". You stated that you reinstalled the program, this might not apply to you. But, if kept your database files during the unistall process, this would mean that the issue is with your database that you kept and still using.

In my experience when Turbo Lister continuously shuts down on the same task such as "Calculating Fees", it could also be a particular listing that is causing the shutdown.

Please run the calculating process and watch when the program shuts down. If it shuts down on a particular listing on the "Waiting to Upload" grid, try removing that one listing and then calculate the fees again.

For example. I have 7 listings in the "Waiting to Upload" tab. I calculate the fees. When the program shuts down on "Calculating fees for item 2 of 7", it would tell me that the 2nd listing in the "Waiting to Upload" grid may be a corrupted listing.

The thing to look out for is consistency. If the same 7 listings that shuts down on the 2nd listing everytime I run the "Calculate Fees" process, it would mean the 2nd one is corrupted and needs to be deleted.

Please try all the recommendation provided above. If you are still running into issues, please feel free to contact us directly.

Turbo Lister Email process: Go to "Help > Contact Customer Support".

To call: On eBay page, lick on the "Help & Contact" link found at the top of most eBay pages.  Click on the "Contact Us" button at the bottom of the page.  Select ‘Selling’ -> ‘Selling basics' -> 'Selling tools for high-volume sellers' top for issues or concerns related to eBay listing tools that my team can assist you with. Now scroll to the bottom and click on the support option you would like. If contacting us by phone support, please ask the customer supported agent to transfer you to the Advanced Apps team to assist you with your eBay listing tools concern. Our business hours are 8am - 6pm Mountain Time.**

We'll need the exact error message to better assess the issue and if you can provide a copy of your Turbo Lister log files, this will greatly help as well.

Sincerely,
