Hi everyone! I hope you are having a fantastic day so far! Better get that coffee in before you get started🙂 (I choose gallon size please!)
So, I’ve been selling here since December, so I’m pretty new and I happen to prefer the old version of the selling platform instead of seller hub (I get so a.d.d.-ish with all of the small lettering and having to scroll over to see all of my listings info…anyone else?)
Anyway, Since I’ve started, I’ve been having trouble with Ebay’s site going down ALL the time (every 5-10 min or so.) And, while trying to do anything (posting, reviewing, revising, etc) I get the “We’ve looked Everywhere” (which in my opinion, should read “We’ve looked everywhere and can’t find the money that is falling out of that hole in your pocket because our site is down…try looking under your couch” Or “We’ve looked everywhere, but Maude, our IT manager is on vacation this month in Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch, Wales (yes, it’s a real place.) But send her a postcard and she’ll send one back to you after her tour of Plas Newydd House And Gardens.”
Well apparently they haven’t looked EVERYWHERE because I can certainly (off of the top of my head) think of at least 3 well known web sites that offer job seekers the opportunity to post resumes regarding software developer, IT personnel, web site developer, etc positions
I know that when traffic is heavy on a site, it causes glitches/crashes with web sites. Aaand, I know that Ebay has probably gone lax with the old seller tools as far as updating, monitoring, etc. But, I was also wondering if it was just me? And, why leave the old version up, if they’re not going to maintain it (the ios version and the ios app?) I'm using the brand new (as of december) ipad pro with plenty of storage space and the latest software version update.
I’m also curious if anyone else is having this same issue with the new seller hub version of the selling platform? Are they trying to sort of nudge (or push, whatever you want to call it) us
to use seller hub this way?

Anyone who has or hasn’t had issues or has any information, advice, or would like to rant with me, please weigh in. I really want to know if it’s just me…I’m going nuts over here with the “bay!”

Also, I apologize, I’m NOT trying to get ANYONE fired! So, please don’t take offense if you work in those fields. I have a lot of respect for those people who are so intelligent in what they do. I meant that maybe they need to hire extra personnel or pump more money into the the web site so that it actually works! I forgot to mention, it’s actually not just seller tools either, it’s also when i try searching for an item or do anything.
