Hey everyone. So I'm looking into Keywords and Title Building and in my Google results I see that Terapeak supposedly has an area for Keywords and Title Building, but I be darned if I can figure out where it is. Any time I clicked on one of the embedded links it took me to the same HELP page on eBay describing Terapeak and all its benefits, but with nothing about Keywords or Title Building. I mean having found Terapeak Research completely useless to me, this Title Builder sounded like it could be the only section of Terapeak that would be useful at all. So do we get Terapeak or don't we? Should get it all or get none of it, in my opinion. Can somebody link me up to where I can get to that part of their site or even recommend some other Keyword/Title Building site that is useful? Thanks so much.

Hey @mylittledotofthabay - title builder may have been part of Terapeak before eBay took ownership and integrated it as a product & sourcing research tool in eBay's Seller Hub. Not all Terapeak features survived that shift.
Having said that, if you go to the Seller Hub Research Resources page in Seller Hub:
https://www.ebay.com/sh/resources/research
You'll see links for optimizing your listings. One of those links goes to a help page with a section about creating effective titles:
https://www.ebay.com/sellercenter/listings/listing-best-practices#perfect-listing
You can also check your items in Terapeak to see what titles were used on sold items vs active listings and get hints at what works best.
And, of course, if you need help crafting the title for any specific listing you can post on this board in the Selling forum where sellers with years of experience can offer suggestions on how to craft that title.
Hope that helps.

Thanks @wastingtime101. I do use the part that shows me past sales and/or current listings in Terapeak. Really I am more interested in finding a decent Key Word thing that I can comprehend. I'm one if those people that can 'get' the most difficult if things with no problem but the easiest most simple things just go right over my head. Eventually I get stuff, it just takes longer. When I first started looking at Terapeak for past sales, my keywords were so bad that I NEVER got to see any listings. Smh. It was frustrating to say the least. Now it's better. At least I do get some results.
Also I have started looking at past sales via the app and seeing what words are used first for like Items that I have to list and then making my title around those words. Last night I started finding my Listings however low they were and sometimes wouldn't show up at all, so I used others words and changed my Titles on 6 or 7 of my Listings, and was shocked when I went and searched and my listing was in the first 5 listed. So I guess I am getting it a little better now. It just takes SOOO long and is SOOO time consuming. I just wish there were some app or site that was free and that I could master quickly so every single minute of spare time wasn't spent trying to get my listings seen. I'm just frustrated, I suppose.
I don't normally watch YouTube videos but have found a guy that said, "There's a reason why your Items aren't selling and it's not ebay's fault, it's your fault. So go through your Listings, 25 a day, (I find time for 10 tops) check sell-through rates, Titles, Price, and find out why the Item isn't selling and fix it." So that's what I been doing. It's not my prices and I know many of my things are not everyday Items so sell through isn't fabulous. So I've started with the Titles a few days ago. Keeping my fingers crossed and I'll look at the links you provided, thank you for those and just for taking the time to respond to me at all. I truly do appreciate it a big ole bunch. -Karen

You'll get the hang of it @mylittledotofthabay . My best advice for key words is think about how you would search for something. If you wanted to buy a New York Yankees baby bib, what would you type in the search box?
Probably: Yankees baby bib or New York Yankees baby bib
Now compare that to your current listing title: OFFICIAL MLB ALL PRO INFANT BIB Little Yankees Fan Lic Numbered
Suggested change to your title: New York Yankees MLB Baby Bib Navy Blue Terry Cloth
Also take a look at your description. It's rather lengthy and some of the text doesn't make sense. The bib is navy and white yet you have text that says, "The red, white, and blue design and WinCraft brand make it a stylish addition to any baby outfit."
A baby bib is pretty straightforward. All you really need to say in the description is something like:
Officially licensed MLB All Pro baby bib from WinCraft. Navy blue with white New York Yankees logo and "Little New York Yankees Fan" text. Polyester front, cotton terry cloth back, machine washable, hook and loop closure. Made in USA.

Hehe! In my defense that's a description by the new AI thing they gave us. Except I do have to take responsibility for the length because I always put that stuff in there about shipping and returns and such. I think it CMA but really don't know because I've only had 4 returns in 9 years and selling steady for 4. Your Title is way better though. I hated that we got through Baseball Season and it didn't sell. I haven't made it that far on redoing my Titles. Probably would have changed it but can't say. I will now though. Thanks again. You're awesome! Yay You!!! - Karen
