TOP RATED DISCOUNT SCAM

23 YEARS on ebay. 1 day shipping 30 day returns over 14,000 positive feedbacks. And I still can't get 10 % saving on final evaluations fee . Ebay is scamming me. I have a negative feedback that is not warranted in my opinion and that buyer that left it  is lying on top of it all . I will be downgrading my store soon and changing all listings to 3 day handling and 14 day returns. You try to be the optimal ebay seller for over 23 years and get nothing in return. Time to search other selling platforms , mercari , face book , craigslist etc.  AGAIN 14,000 PLUS POSITIVE FEEDBACKS AND FOR WHAT.

I didn't think that sounded right...

unless there were other ding-able reasons attached to the feedbacks

 

like cancellations maybe?

For myself I don't view it as chasing the 10% TRS Plus discount and I too was disappointed when they took 10% back from the original 20%.  But if the settings are not a burden for normal operations then it makes sense to get the discount.  It all adds up at the end of the year with the total one receives from it ...

Oh, definitely.  OOS/Damaged Cancellations and INR/INAD cases that the seller doesn't resolve on their own are the primary factors in evaluating seller levels. Those can often be accompanied by negative feedback, and I usually assume that more buyers are opening cases than are reflected in negative feedback that references those types of issues.

From my calculations, we've saved around $600-700 a month so far this year, and it certainly hasn't cost us that much to get the discount.

Help me understand why a negative feedback from a disappointed buyer to whom you sold an OOS (out of stock) item is unwarranted. And how is the buyer lying when your (unprofessional) response admits your error? 

 

Of course, this has nothing to do with why you aren't getting a discount on your fees across the board but it's worth mentioning. 

 

Another thing you need to work on is your responses to feedbacks. Both the neg and neutral replies reflect worse on you than on the buyers. Sheesh, the neutral feedback states "thanks," yet you draw attention by name-calling and accusing the buyer. Had you just left it as "thanks" from the buyer, you wouldn't have come off as bad as you did.

 

In the future, I suggest you wait a few days to cool off and be less emotional and accusatory if you're going to reply to feedbacks.
