Successfully uploaded 2 files using File Exchange, but they are not in my listings

I am new to File Exchange, thanks to the pending removal of Turbolister.  I successfully created a csv file from two Turbolister listings (as an experiment).  I uploaded them using File Exchange, and they are shown as "downloaded" and "status: completed."

No listings have been added to my sales listings.  Calling those two files "downloaded" when I have actually uploaded them to Ebay has me wondering what I did wrong.

Am I supposed to do something more to turn them into visible listings on Ebay?

The successful upload merely means that File Exchange has received your file and that the data was readable. The next step is to review the results of that upload to see what errors occurred when File Exchange tried to extract listing data from the file.

The response file will have errors and warnings. The warnings are advisory and won't prevent listing. But the errors do prevent listing creation and must be addressed one by one.  Each line is analyzed left to right until a failure is detected. When that failure is corrected, the row is reevaluated on your next upload until another failure is encountered. Eventually as you clear each error, the file will eventually be cleaned up and you'll have a good sense of what is needed to create a successful upload.

We can help you understand the error messages if you post the full text of the error message.

Than you - I will follow that process and determine if there are any errors to be corrected

Tried loading from TL to a file exchange file then uploading to eBay. Loaded but dropped picture. EBay told me that TL was not set up to load to a file exchange file. Anyone know more about this issue?

File Exchange was never able to upload pictures from your desktop. That spreadsheet system only accepts the URLs of photos hosted on a secure website.  Additionally, the export file from Turbo Lister may need some formatting to work with File Exchange since the data columns may differ from what File Exchange now expects.

As a partial solution, if you want to use File Exchange to send eBay your data, without photos, you can upload your spreadsheet of items as scheduled listings, using some online placeholder image, and then manually edit listings to update photos from your desktop and launch the listings by disabling the schedule.
