Is it possible to receive notifications about saved searches in real time rather than just daily? If so, how does one activate this option? I'm tired of missing out on items because my saved searches emails only come in (at most) a daily digest. Too many things wind up sold before I even know they're listed, so the feature doesn't really serve its intended purpose. Thanks!

Unfortunately, I still don't see any options to change saved searches notifications to real-time. I've looked everywhere on this page, but I still see nothing. What am I missing? And tanks for replying!

First click on 'Show All' on the top heading line.
Go down to the 'Buyer' section.
My vision of the options - 'Watch alert' Show Realtime.
You will not see this on the mobile app, but must use the 'Desktop' version.
For mobile devices - You can use your device's browser to access eBay, just like a desktop.
Tap your device's browser icon, tap the url (address) line, the type in ebay.com,
Enlarge the page, and Tap Sign in, once you are signed in...

Note: This 'desktop' version allows access to most account options. This is dangerous on mobile devices, which are easily lost or stolen. One should sign out of the 'desktop' version when done.
If your mobile device is lost or stolen, call eBay immediately, and ask them to cancel the session, for that mobile device.

watch alert is for items on your watch list not your saved searches so that will not help

Yeah, that is my issue. All my other real-time notifications are already on (thank you, though, Dollybeauty, for your thorough answer!), but it seems that no such option even exists for my saved searches. It's maddening!

Sorry, I was mistaken. Oops.

I have not really used eBay's saved search notification feature much, preferring to do my own searches on my own schedule.
There are third-party sites (google "automated searches ebay" for some possibilities) that provide a certain number of free searches, with "fewer unique searches but done more often" as an available option. Not sure how reliable they are, but I did set up a very targeted search using one such site, and did receive an email result when one of the items was finally listed.
Worth a look if you are not satisfied with eBay's limited saved-search options.
