Hi,
I recently a bought a store template, followed all the instructions but still not working.
I have selected custom header and pasted the code but it's displaying the default layout.
Could anyone suggest me, what can be done now?
Thanks.

Your store is in the "new" store format where custom templates can not be applied. I'm not sure why custom store templates are still being sold on eBay because even the old stores will lose their customization when they are forced into the new store format this year. Either the template sellers are oblivious to the Store overhaul that went into effect last Spring, or they are hoping to catch buyers unaware.
There is a slim possibility that you can revert to the old store format to apply your custom template, but if you never had an old store, I doubt that you can revert. And then if you can apply the template, your enjoyment of that template might be short-lived.
Change back to the old store format here:
My eBay > Account > Manage my store > Edit store
"Revert to my old store" may still be in the top right corner.
Change to the new store format here:

I have already reverted my store to old ebay.
When I click on the link you provided, it's asking me to publish (Which I am assuming it will only ask if it's on old ebay)
I still went and published the store then followed your guide and reverted back to old Ebay.
I do understand that Ebay may force into the new store format at any time but I will still try to take advantage of the template for as long as I can.
Is there anything else you can think of that might help me?

If you have reverted to the old store format, it is not showing that way. I still see the new store format, although now you have a logo installed. I would love to see your new store format with a billboard banner. The listing photos are so clean and uniform. I love eye candy, and you'll need a doozy of a template to improve on your presentation. I think you are going black, which is the luxury color for jewelry, but my mind is looking for a jewel bedecked billboard in whites, the other luxury color, with silver and gold embellishments.
I don't have a store to play with, so I'm running blind on whether you can install the template. There may be a secret code to gain access that was published last year by eBay staff in one of the weekly chats. I'll need to go on a treasure hunt to see if I can find that for you.
Back then, it was my understanding that those who started with an old store could revert, but those who started with a new store could not revert.

Thanks for the response.
Let's say If I am not able to revert back to the old store and use the template.
Are there any changes I can make on the new version of eBay, except uploading of Logo and Banner?
I tried making a few changes like.
Account > Listing Frame > Store Header Feature
- Store header and left-navigation category list
- Store header only
- None
I tried all three options but the store always looks the same.
I guess what I am trying to ask is, is there any way to modify the new version, maybe background color or something like that to make it look professional.
I am kind of new to eBay, any good store (New eBay Version) example would be highly appreciated.
Thanks

Right now, the only things you can change are the billboard banner, the logo, and the categories. At some point, eBay will be adding some store customization features, and I've asked for colors, but I suspect eBay will only provide "modules" that can be plugged in and rearranged. Something like promo boxes. When those added features become available, legacy custom stores will be forcibly transitioned to the new format.
The listing frame is the store info that is wrapped around a listing when you open a single listing. You can choose to show just the header, or you can include the left navigation, or you can choose to show no store info in the listing. Those selections do not affect the appearance of your store. Try each one and then open a listing to see the effect.
I recommend that you start working on your billboard. Even if you can revert to the legacy format, you will eventually be pushed back into this format, so you'll need it now or you'll need it later. A billboard image is typically 1200x270 and will be proportionally scaled per screen size. You can use any aspect, but this shape also fits the MyWorld Profile where the image is clipped if too large for the monitor. The logo is 300x300 square and is typically presented at 150x150 or smaller. I prefer your MyWorld Logo. It better matches what I envision for your Billboard.
I did find the code that was posted by eBay last Spring for reverting to the old store, but it was posted during the period of time when reversion was impossible, and was discussed in the context of changing and applying a new store name. It was back before they had the "revert" button that came out last summer. You can message me to discuss it. I don't want to post it here if it opens a futile wild goose chase for others trying to do the same thing.
