Pictures loaded vertically, but posting horizontally and I have to flip each picture.

I am taking pictures with an Iphone 7 and my pictures are taken vertically, seem to be vertical in the photo album, but when I load them, they all flip on their sides.  I have to go back to each photo and flip them back up, which takes a lot of time.  Anybody know why this happens and how to fix the issue?  Thanks!

What photo album? The one on the iPhone or the panel in the listing photo section?

Pretty sure the iPhone saves all images in landscape mode. They appear on the iPhone to be in portrait mode because the iPhone software reads the EXIF orientation info and does a virtual 90 degree flip when it displays it (as does most newer software like Windows 8 and 10 image viewers - but I gather Win 7 default photo viewer does not respect EXIF info)

I think what is is happening is because the eBay photo uploader does not read or use the EXIF info and displays them as uploaded (which would be on their sides in landscape mode because that is how the iPhone saved them)

I don't deal with that issue ever as I strip all EXIF info from anything that gets uploaded anywhere (nobody's business where, when, or with what device I took a photo), so can't help with any possible iPhone settings if there are any.

Based on that all I can offer as solutions is to manually flip them after upload, or pre-process them through imaging software and rotate the before uploading. If you are uploading photos directly from your iPhone to eBay without a desktop in between that may be a bit more difficult (but I'm sure there have to be 4,000 iPhone apps that can deal with this)

Hold on, looking for answers ..... guess I guessed right! eBay ignores EXIF info (and thus the orientation flag) embedded in images.
