The photo is clear enough, but you will notice that the text background is gray, when it would be easier to read if it were white. A scanner can usually handle the task.

There may be a way to trick your phone into adding more contrast, or you can use eBay's editor to add more contrast. You want the white to be whiter while the text stays black, so you don't want the simple "exposure compensation" that occurs when you touch an area of the phone screen that you want to focus, because that action will simply darken or lighten the entire image.

But, if you want to use the photo that you have, I would recommend you upload the image twice to eBay and then crop off everything but the text area on one of them. eBay's editor has a cropping tool.  That way, they will keep and process the area that is the focal point of your cropped version.  Then you can use the editor's contrast tool to brighten the whites and darken the blacks on the cropped version. It will still be blurry in small images, but should be readable when you use eBay's zoom feature after the item is listed.

To get small clear details you need a phone with Macro Mode.  It shows the details , but not necessarily the surrounded image.  You will likely need a camera to get that.

Macro mode looks like a picture of a flower.

Thanks so much... the cropping idea you gave really helped (& was easy)... and now text is legible! Thanks again!

Here is a listing where I have added your photo three times.

https://www.ebay.com/itm/223147496180

  1. The first is your original.

  2. The second I cropped, brightened to about 20, and increased contrast all the way to 80.  While I cropped it a tad too small so that it doesn't zoom, it does popup in the supersize overlay and is quite readable.

  3. The third was not cropped quite as much to ensure it would zoom. It does zoom and is very readable in the mouseover zoom.

Oooooh... but I see you are already ahead of me on that!
