Has anyone found a way to switch back to the old listing tool? My biggest problem with the current one is I can't seem to find a way to go from creating one listing right into creating another. The previous tool had a create new option that just took you right back to the product search page, this new format you have to click sell again, click create new listing and then search. I'd much prefer the old tool. Is there a way to switch back?
This tool is hot garbage. Bean counters will tell themselves that users just need to adapt, but it's objectively a horrible piece of coding. I doubt very much that they have user feedback groups, etc. Garbage.
Ughhhh... after switching back to the classic lister for a couple months it's switched me over again, and the option to switch back is gone now. -_-
What the actual f*ck were the designers of the new listing page thinking?! Did they perform a single goddamn user test or ever once try actually using it themselves? Who the hell could have ever genuinely thought it was a good idea to remove the calculation that automatically tells you what the BIN price has to be based on the starting bid you entered? Every UI designer who worked on this project and every executive who greenlit it should never work in the industry again. I've seen plenty of questionable updates but this is just absolutely appalling. It genuinely feels like they're intentionally trying to make the experience worse for sellers.
The new tool was forced on me also today. I opted out previously but there is no more opting out. It is very time consuming and difficult to list an item now. What a horrible change eBay has made and forced on its sellers. Bad decision.
Ebay, Please let us go back to the old listing tool. I've been listing on ebay for 25 years, I'm 84 years old and do not own an apple iphone, just a flip phone. I currently have 73 listings and find the new listing tool to be just awful. Perhaps it's time to start selling on Craigslist.
This is not faster or simpler, this is trash. What liberal collage genius graduate came up with this? I wish another auction site would get as big as ebay, I'm so sick of their **bleep**.
