Has anyone found a way to switch back to the old listing tool? My biggest problem with the current one is I can't seem to find a way to go from creating one listing right into creating another. The previous tool had a create new option that just took you right back to the product search page, this new format you have to click sell again, click create new listing and then search. I'd much prefer the old tool. Is there a way to switch back?
Thanks.

they have stated that the new simplified limited color gamut is meant to help color blind or color contrast challenged people to see the description better...... Yep- you cant make this stuff up. Talk about polishing the railings on the titanic........ So now we cannot use a bright RED text to highlight a defect or condition in our listing for 99.99999% of our buyers just incase a colorblind person has a difficult time reading it.
Makes absolutely no logical sense

One must understand the programmers that developed the older better interface are most likely no where to be found in the company. The current talent is most likely incapable of working on the old code. Once the new listing pages code passed a certain point of unnecessary complexity the "switch to classic" option probably had to be removed to avoid breakage behind the interface. This is the new norm and even though customer relations is aware and probably even on our side, the higher ups in contact with programming understand the issue clearly and know we can not have it the way we once had. This would also account for no reply ever once escalating the issue. 26 years for me as a user and kicked to the curb without as much as a heads up.

code is ones and zeros...... the user interface can "look" and "feel" like anything- i agree that the old code was probably getting hard to keep patching up- but there was no reason to just abandon all the reasons and advantages of using a desktop when designing the new code- the problem is that they mistakenly thought that we all wanted mobile because-" its the wave of the future".
Mobile has its advantages and disadvantages just like everything else, but it is basically all that it can be at this point. you can only do so much with a phone, and then it becomes a disadvantage. By forcing professional desktop users to lower their efficiency and productivity to that of a mobile phone app- ebay has seriously lowered the value of its platform. if it take 2x longer to list then you will get half the new listings you had before.........gmv has been steadily dropping every quarter since this tool was rolled out.

Did you actually test this with high volume users? This is terrible! Did you just ask 'is this pretty???" and call it a day? I hate this new interface, give me the old one back. I have been on ebay over 20 years and this is the worst 'improvement' yet! At least give us the option to go back. This shows that the developer took limited input and is catering to the phone lister and not to anyone else. Terrible decision!!! Listings will go down as will your revenue. Are you listening ebay?

I trust that you don’t like it, but understand that you are in the minority. 68% of sellers prefer the new tool.

I have found a workaround "solution" that I will be using until the time that eBay decides to add the option to revert to the old posting system.
This workaround only adds an additional three "clicks" of the mouse, which if you ask me is a great tradeoff for not having to use the time-wasting new listing interface.
This is how I do it.
Click 1:
Much like many of you I use "Sell Similar" on already sold items for my listings. I click "Sell Similar" under the item and it takes me to the godawful new listing tool.
Click 2:
In another window, I already am at the bulk listing option for ebay, the specific link is:
https://bulksell.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?SingleList&forcetool=CUB&&guest=1&guest=1
I change my tab to this tab and hit refresh. At the top under "Latest Drafts" the item I had clicked for "Sell Similar" is already in there.
Click 3:
I simply click "Resume" next to the draft I wish to complete and there is my old friendly listing interface, prefilled with all the information, ready for my pictures and prices.
Hope this all works for you in the time being! And fingers crossed it isn't removed!
