No filtering option for items with variable pricing

Some items have variable pricing available. I understand this is very useful for things like clothing, for example but I have been noticing many sellers taking advantage of this variability in order to make their items appear affordable.

I was searching for a very specific book and filtered by price. The common range was between $5 and $28 for it but I noticed many of the sellers offering to sell it for around $5 actually had variable pricing with the intent of selling a bookmark for $5 while having the book at a much higher price than presented. The title image and description of course refers to the book. This is not the only time this has occurred. It has happened far too many times to mention.

This is clearly deceptive behavior and while it is frustrating I will not suggest that this feature be removed as it is very helpful to sellers.

I will merely suggest that there be an option within FILTERING to filter OUT items with variable pricing so that buyers who are looking for very specific items are able to do so.

This way, sellers who need to sell variable items have a legitimate way to do so and those sellers who are attempting to deceive the search system can be filtered out of the buyer isn't looking for something that would require variable pricing. Blue rays, computers and other electronics, books, cards, games/toys, etc etc...

I hope there is support on this as I believe it can make eBay even better with minimal effect or changes made.

Please report any of those that you see. A bookmark is NOT a book and should not be listed under the same title as a book, and such cheap baits are often not even in the same category.

Every listing has a report option.

When reporting the listing, select these options:
1. Listing practices
2. Search and browse manipulation
3. Other search and browse manipulation
4. "Continue" to open Comment box and explain the cheap variation bait does not match the title or category.
