Hey folks,
While comping this morning, I noticed 2 interesting new fields on someone's listing. I've attached a screenshot of what I'm talking about.
I'm just curious as to how these get on listings? I comped 20 other exact same item, this was the ONLY listing that had this. Is it because they used the new AI Listing Tool where you upload bulk photos? There's no way to tell if it's this. I first assumed it's part of the AI Description.. but this particular listing did NOT use the AI Description. Potentially, it's fully automated, not triggered by any specific action such as creating a new listing through a specific method etc. But idk.
Just wondering if anyone has any insights on this, how these appear on listings, what triggers them, etc.
Thanks for your time and hope you have a great rest of your Sunday. And most importantly... get some sales!

eBay has been testing a lot of things on the item page. Sellers cannot control it and eBay isn't going to tell us what triggers it / what doesn't. They'll run their tests, collect data, then decide whether or not to tweak and move forward on a larger scale, or abandon it.

@logiczllc - eBay hasn't and likely won't provide much more information about it at this time for the reasons @wastingtime101 pointed out, but here's another community discussion about it:

I'll add @logiczllc - if you see odd data populated into that field, you can click the ? icon on the lower right corner of the page, then use the "send feedback" link to provide comments. Product developers will review those comments and your feedback can help them to make improvements (especially with AI programming).
For example, on that listing I'd submit something like:
Product highlights "generated with eBay.ai" populating below the price and above shipping cost doesn't make sense. The comment for this shower head is "Supports Your Skin." What the heck does that even mean?
Edit: according to that other post, eBay is pulling from the description, so apparently the description from that product used the weird "supports your skin" phrase. Yep - that's what the seller put in the description. It would have been more relevant for AI to pull in the "Enhanced Water Filter" info. It doesn't help AI when the seller's info is kind of odd. 🙃
SUPPORTS YOUR SKIN AND HAIR: Our filter shower head filters water to help with dry skin, rough hair and itchy skin. The shower head filter for hard water reduces any unwanted substances from the water
