Woke this morning to more work ahead than I dreamed possible today. I have automated most of my processes such as listing products needed for orders and making customized labels for products sold, amoung others.
I get the information I use for automating my processes from downloading the awaiting shipment report in the Seller Hub. Well, I did. That link is gone along with the original awaiting shipment page. There's a link, "Download report". When I download the report, the fields are not the same, nor are they in the same order. One field is missing that I need to be able to fill my orders. Most all of my products have variations, and one of the variations fields is missing.
I've attached programming to the original report that was on the Sellers Hub yesterday. This Paid Awaiting Shipment report is not going to work with my programming unless I manually arrange, delete and add fields. So now I must do all this manual work, that I had automated, before I can even begin to fill my orders.
I wonder if anyone even thought that sellers might need the reports for this purpose. Surely, they did. Why, then, am I having to rewrite my programs? When will I have to do this again? Next report field change?
I need to be able to arrange my reports with the fields I need - in the order I need them so that this doesn't happen again. It wouldn't be too hard to write code to allow this. Ebay probably already has this. Please make this possible. I can't rewrite my code every time someone changes a report. HELP!

From page 138 of the FileExchange AdvancedInstructions...
If you are not using a script/programming language (Excel and macros), you do have an issue now and in the future.
With a script, you can use an associative array.

This is from the eBay Advanced Apps team...
