I am trying to list an item, but I keep getting this same error since yesterday.

Is anyone else having the same problem?

Yes, this a new account.

I was using my personal account, but due to taxes and reporting it's  not a good idea.

Is this a new account restriction or is eBay having problems?

Did you open a new account to get around taxes?

I don’t know why we needed that information.

What were you trying to list?
Is your other account(s) in good standing?

Sorry for the taxes in my reply. I know it isn't relevant. I've had my personal account since 2000, so I'm not a noob. I used my personal account to sell items for the company I work for , but now I'm responsible for the taxes, not the company I work for.

I'm opening a new account for the company I work for. I haven't opened an eBay account for 22 years now.

My question is, is this error I'm getting normal, or is anyone having the same problem before I escalate to customer service or should I just be patient for a day or two?

Yes I too am having the same issue, but with the description disappearing so the listing no being posted.

So I create in laptop and then go to my mobile app and post the listing from there and that has been working.  Some weird ideas the machine has.  It is the new account being suspicious, but no customer service person knows what is happening and even if they did, there is no recourse.....the machine (algorithms) have spoken.

Have you fully completed your Managed Payments enrollment for the new business account?

A new account will be allowed to create a listing, but at the point of committing to post the listing, the listing will be sent to drafts and the seller will be sent to the Managed Payments onboarding process.

The failure message could be coming from drafts or from onboarding. If you are able to preview the new listing during creation, then it should be correctly creating a draft, and if you just abandon the listing creation, it should appear in drafts. Both would indicate that drafts are working for you

If drafts are working for you, the failure is probably related to enrollment in Managed Payments.

Have you tried different browsers? App vs Desktop? Do you have better details to provide?
