How does one cancel their store subscription?
After over 20 years of being a eBay seller(at first with no store, then various other stores), and giving eBay 10's of $1,000's in back end fees, I'm ready to end my relationship with eBay.
Between not removing unjust and unfair neg feedback from a buyer(he was told TWICE, prior to him buying items, that due to COVID, the post office is slow to deliver, and is 'losing' items in the mail, that my store policy is to sell only ONE high value item at a time...I can't chance sending $1,000's of items in one box, and having it 'get lost in the mail'). The buyer still went ahead and ordered multiple high-value items. After I cancelled the orders, he left 4 neg feedback(which eBay will NOT remove).
And, with eBay's back-end fees almost doubling(fees used to be 13%(including PayPal)), now, through 'Managed Payments', my fees are close to 20%.
eBay, I can no longer deal with a company that always puts their buyers first(I guess that you can't see that without sellers, you wouldn't have buyers?), and the fact that you have jacked up your back-end fees to the point of making not worth the while to sell on your platform.
I know that there's some sort of 'penalty fee' for ending your store early. How do I find out what my store's renewal date is? And, when can I cancel my subscription without any penalty fees? The day before the renewal date?, the renewal date? Is there a way to place a cancel order, now, but to have it take place in the future, when there will be no penalty fee?
Thanks!

Go to your store from your feedback page. Click manage my store, then on the lower left of the page click manage subscriptions. You should then see an option to close your store.

How do I find out what my store's renewal date is?
From your Account Settings, select the hot 'Subscriptions' button under 'Selling'.

Thanks for the fast response...but, when can I do this, without penalty? The day of renewal? A day before renewal?

Good Grief!! There is nothing here that is not solvable.
No one cares about feedback and if they do, you do not want them as a customer.
I have 7 negatives from one PITA buyer who told me that unless I give her half off her order, she would give me negative feedback. It has not effected my sales one bit.
If you do not use the post office, try UPS with insurance. I have thousands of dollars of fabric shipped to me UPS for years without any problems.
Everyone is 20 % for fees. Adjust your prices.

Thanks for your insights...I've tried UPS and USPS with signature and insurance(paid out of my pocket)...in over 20 years of selling, I've had 5 buyers say, 'package arrived, but it was empty...gimme my refund'. And, of course, eBay sides with the buyer(most of the time)...I'm out my product and whatever the buyer paid. The post office would not pay out the insurance, as I couldn't 'prove' the value of the items. I guess you've been very lucky to deal with honest people.
