How can you put a message on for buyers when you are going to b on vacation & have delayed shipping. I was able to do it a month or so ago but can't find where I did it from. I contacted Ebay today & was told only can do it if you have a store. Can anyone help ?

Well, it's true that you can only use the vacation options if you have a Store subscription. Did you have one and drop it?
For sellers who don't have a Store, the options are: (1) revise your listings to extend your handling time to reflect your actual anticipated shipping date; (2) end all the listings and relist when you return; (3) for fixed price listings, activate the "Out of stock" option in your Site Preferences, then change the quantity available to zero. Then when you return, revise the quantity and the listing will reappear.
