I have a web app that reads info from eBay via an XML doc to retrieve info like Title, Location, CurrentPrice, etc using the GetSingleItem API.

This API access is being deprecated and replaced with AOuth2.

My web app runs on ASP.NET VB.NET.

Looking at the eBay OAuth documentation, this seems to be way overkill for my application and is clearly over my head.

I only need Read-Only access.

What is the simplest process forward to implement OAuth? Or is there another way?

I tried web scraping from javascript, eBay denies the extraction from a web browser.

Any help is greatly appreciated!
