@shipscript I created a variations .csv and it uploaded but only one of my five varied same-type items has listed. They are tee shirts that are all the same size.
Should I upload my .csv here? Or what? I was very proud I got as far as I did, even if it didn't work exactly as I wanted. 🙂

@shipscript I'm on it! Thank you for the example.

Is this the correct format for the relationshipdetails in the master record?
Style=Mandala Screen Print;Kayaks Embroidered;Mermaid Embroidered;Peace Love Paw Rhinestone;Sweetie Rhinestone
The very well detailed help seems like it would be easier to do manually on ebay. I'm hoping to do variations with FileExchange. I have high hopes! 🙂

Hurray! The basic listing is there awaiting your photo updates.
I don't know how much you changed in your spreadsheet, but most of the master record data does not need to be in the variation rows. The variations would contain only a few columns of data specific to each variation, like price, quantity, sku, photos, and the droplist choices.

Yes, Happy Dance! 🙂 I've been working on adding the photos and updating the description. Once updated, I'll let you know.
I'll remove the extra info from the variation rows and hope I don't mess it up! In order to verify it works, I have to end my listing again, but that's fine.
It's wonderful to have a workable variations file exchange .csv spreadsheet!
I'm so pleased! Thank you so much for the help, your patience and your kindness!

Hi @shipscript 🙂
It took so long because the preview kept showing the placeholder image, so I finally just updated the listing and here it is:

@shipscript Do you think it's necessary for me to add the names of the shirts onto their pictures? I don't want to leave anything up to a misunderstanding of what the prospective buyer will get.
BTW, I updated the listing again and revised the description.

Terrific!
Now, to get those images attached to the variations...
Right now, all variations display all images. So, you may want these images in the default location
And then each of these in its own variation (and perhaps repeat the measurement images in the variations, as well)
And then snag your eBay hosted photos for the measurements, and repeat them in your description.

<img src="https://i.ebayimg.com/images/g/1TMAAOSwdqZgeb7h/s-l400.jpg">
If you delete these photos and re-add them, the above URLs will be no good and must be snagged again. Notice that you can select the image size by changing the number that follows "/S-L" at the end of the URL.

@shipscript I'll connect the images to the variations. After that, I'll try to clean up the .csv
I'm leery of removing the master record info from the variations on my .csv, but I'll be brave. lol.
THANK YOU!!!!!

Is this correct? How to I make them see the size and measuring images?
04-16-2021 10:58 AM
Yes!
The visitor can use the arrow buttons on the photos to get back to the size chart.
But if you want it to appear on each variation so that they don't have to scroll back to the beginning, you can upload a size chart into each of the variations. In that case, your lineup on the actual listing will show pink shirt, size chart, red shirt, size chart, blue shirt, size chart, etc.
Alternatively, you can add the size chart to your description with the URLs given in the earlier post.

It’s easy to add the size chart and how to measure your pet next to each of the dog shirts. I can’t figure out how to get the links from the images I already have in my listing.

I used to be able to get eBay hosted URLs from the thumbnail lineup within the image uploader and then change the size code as necessary. If not available from there, you can get them from the posted listing using this tool.

1. Added the URL you gave me for my measuring instructions and size chart image.
2. Included the images for the measurement instructions and the size chart in each shirt variation.
3. Added a pic of the five shirts together by taking a screenshot of them.
Is this better now?

Updated:
I edited my .csv to remove much of the data from the variation rows and uploaded it.
If this looks right, I'll end the listing, but I'll keep the latest updated csv as a variations template.
