Hi, I use batch files to update my listings and I was able to update several items today 11-19-20 around noon. i.e., changing quantity or price via programic uploads.
Tonight, I received this error message in my results.txt file that is kicked back after uploading my changes,
"Your File Exchange upload failed because a valid token is missing. <br><a href="javascript:void(0);" onclick="self.close();return false;">Close</a></body>"
This has happened before in the past and I freaked out and went off and got eBay to issue me a new token as soon as I discovered it. I don't recall exactly where I requested it , but I think it was under advanced help on the file exchange menu.
So my questions are;
Do tokens expire at regular intervals?
Where is the location to request a new token?
Am I jumping the gun...is there just a glitch that is going on that will sort it self out, without the need for me to get a new token and paste it into my 6 batch fils in question?
I'm not in a hurry, so I think I will wait until tomorrow morning and see it it starts working again.
Any insight on token lifespan would be welcome. I have been using them for more than 10 years and it seems there is no way I have had to get a new one each year.

Page 67 of the File Exchange Advanced Instructions has the link to request a token and it does say that they only last a year.
I'll be back to revisit this next fall.
