So yeah.
Ebay wants us to use custom store categories to make things more logical or tailored to our stores and buyers. They say use custom store categories. Let it make more sense for how you want to group your items in a way that is logical and useful to you selling them.
But when you end listings and sell similar because their algorithm is no longer doing well for an item as its been around awhile, they are not saving that information about the item. You are stuck doing extra work to redo every item relisted using Sell Similar.
Come on Ebay this is bush league.

Whenever I have used "sell similar" the new page has all of the settings of the original page. In fact sell similar brings up EXACTLY the same page I used as the starting point. Then I make the changes as necessary and post it. Never had a problem.
If you end the listing and then use sell similar from the unsold page that might be your problem.
I click sell similar from an active listing. After I open the page, but before I actually post it, then I end the original listing. Works every time.
Maybe it just the sequence of events you are using.

That could be it. If also could be because I am on an adroid tablet most of the time. They have told me in the past some issues are platform-specific.
