First of all, you won't be able to use paypal directly for your selling account. You will be forced to use ebay managed payments, and your customer will be able to use paypal to pay for the item, but it comes to you via ebay managed payments and not to your paypal account. This means ebay has complete control over your funds. If there is a dispute ebay immediately holds funds in that amount. If you have a pending payout, they take it from that. If you do not have a pending payout, they will actually withdraw it from your checking account that you are required to give them access to in order to receive payments.
