Ebay Disputes

If I'm a seller and have pending disputes on Ebay and I'm paypaled money, will Ebay take the money from my Paypal to clear the dispute?

Ebay Disputes

First of all, you won't be able to use paypal directly for your selling account.  You will be forced to use ebay managed payments, and your customer will be able to use paypal to pay for the item, but it comes to you via ebay managed payments and not to your paypal account.  This means ebay has complete control over your funds.  If there is a dispute ebay immediately holds funds in that amount.  If you have a pending payout, they take it from that.  If you do not have a pending payout, they will actually withdraw it from your checking account that you are required to give them access to in order to receive payments.  As a seller you are screwed the instant a buyer makes a dispute.  Of course if the dispute is settled in your favor, they release the funds.  But that could take weeks.  Welcome to ebay.
