There is no way to click on the insert link to add my custom template. Anyone else have this issue and did you figure out how to fix it?

That misplaced [Insert/Manage] list (over to the right) looks like it is browser-specific.
It works fine in my Firefox browser and Brave browsers and almost works in Safari, but I see the same as your screenshot with Edge.
I used the three dot icon at the top of the listing form to send a comment to the team. I let them know my browser and version and computer type, along with the menu problem.
You may want to do the same. That is the best way to reach the team directly.

Thanks switched over to Firefox and working! The crazy thing is on a laptop I have it works just fine using Chrome browser.

At the top of your listing form you will find the triple vertical dots. Click that to send comments to the management team for that page. Tell them which browser you are using. Let them know that the description editor's "custom template" list does not let you select "Insert/Manage". The selection is placed too far away from the list.

Be sure to let eBay know about this bug by using that comment option at the top of the listing form. Also let them know what browser you are using so that can see the problem for themselves.

Ridiculous. This is a problem on desktop for me in Chrome (latest update) as well as Edge - so basically it's a webkit browser problem. Anybody have a clue how what Chrome market share is? I'm switching in and out of classic because I do prefer the photo editor in the new listing flow. Of course someday soon, that won't be an option....

Hi all! I found out that the team is currently working on this issue and there will be a release later this week to fix it. In the meantime, you can downgrade Chrome to version 100 or use Firefox to avoid running into it. Thanks!

Fixed today in Chrome 101 - I would suggest clearing cached files.

Forced into the new listing tool. Templates work 100% fine in the old listing tool on my iPad.
Am on iPad with Chrome 105 and with Safari latest. The "insert / manage" template selection does not show at all anywhere on the screen to choose from. Also tech should note that THERE IS NO HOVER function on an Apple tablet. You can't hover over the template name in the dropdown to even get the "insert / manage" to come up. But if you fiddle enough you can get a template in the list highlighted but still can not see the insert button.
So maybe it was fixed once, but it is totally broken again now for me in the new listing tool. Only works on a desktop.
Also templates don't even exist in the APP. The app makes you take out all formatting before you can even type in the description field... but that is a different issue.
