Controlling information Ebay uses to show you ads

I found a page about opting out of info Ebay shares with TCF vendors. https://www.ebay.com/gdpr  There are hundreds of companies in 10 categories that are sharing and collecting our info, but there is an option to say "No" to them all.

Is there any drawback to saying "No" to all 10 categories? Or do I need to selectively keep some and uncheck other ones?

I have all mine set to NO and haven't had any problems. I also have all the boxes in Communication Preferences>Promotions and Surveys unchecked. That way I don't get any spam emails from eBay about items I've looked at.

Thanks for letting me know that you've done it with no problems. When I search google for lets say, Dunhill Lighters, sometimes a lighter that I'm selling shows up in the pictures of that search, and then links to my ebay account. I was afraid if I uncheck all of them, those links would stop and not show up in google search, and my items would only show on ebay. How would I ever know?

Where is Communication Preferences>Promotions and Surveys?

I have all preferences unchecked.

- Because of that, I don't get any emails about seller listing promotions (discounts), although they do show up in eBay Messages.

- I also understand that buyers may not receive their eBay Bucks promotions, although I would assume those  might also show up in their eBay Messages.
