Can't revise prices on listing with variations

I have a listing for an item with over 40 variations. I want to reduce the price. I go into Edit on the Variations page, change all the prices, then hit Save and Preview. Looks great. So I hit Save and Close, and when I check the listing, the prices are not changed. When I go back into Edit, all the original prices are there. I've tried three times, always the same result. What am I doing wrong?

I have no answer for your specific question (it should work).....but...

maybe try changing the prices from the "Active Listings" page...

Click on the [00 variations] under the Title in the "Title" column of your listing and try changing the prices through that interface showing the variations.....

You are skipping a step.

After you edit the prices you click

Save and Close at bottom of page.

This is not the complete process.  By hitting Save and Close you are taken back to Revise your listing page.

Scroll to the bottom of the page and Click on Revise

This page will come up. 

Go to you listing and check that it updated your changes.

Also as @monica-sells mentioned you can adjust the price that way.  If it is just one or two changes that is fastest.  If you are changing all prices it may be faster to Revise you listing.

You will be able to edit these three boxes.
