I'm using the bulk upload tool a lot more and for the most part, really like it. It's a great solution for creating listings in large quantities.
There are a few listing details that I have to enter via bulk edit after uploading, though, and I'm wondering if it's possible to add columns to the the upload template. For example:
Also, I know there are some columns (image URL, for example) where I can enter multiple values separated by a pipe (|) character. Does this also work for other columns where multiple values are allowed?
Thanks in advance!

I will refer to the old File Exchange PDF manual for some of the missing data.
File Exchange headings are concatenated words. The Seller Hub spreadsheet uploader separates the words in the headings, but should also be able to read the old File Exchange headers.
Store categories can be added. Headings are:
StoreCategory | number (maximum length is 10 digits) |
StoreCategory2 | number (maximum length is 10 digits) |
Package detail headings are:
WeightMajor | (whole pounds) |
WeightMinor | (whole ounces) |
WeightUnit | lb or kg |
PackageLength | (whole inches rounded up) |
PackageDepth | (whole inches rounded up) |
PackageWidth | (whole inches rounded up) |
PackageType | None, Letter, LargeEnvelope, PackageThickEnvelope, USPSLargePack (works for all services) |
OriginatingPostalCode |
The Condition ID is a numerical value.
For Trading Cards Singles, the value is 3000 (used).
ConditionID | 1000, 1500, 2000, 2500, 3000, 4000, 5000, 6000, 7000 |
The condition description heading is:
ConditionDescription | (1000 characters max) |
Item Specifics:
When using a spreadsheet template to complete (or edit) the item specifics, the entire set of item specifics should be included. Anything omitted in a revision will be eliminated. Item specifics headers start with C:
If multiple values are allowed under one item specific, then yes, you can pipe-delimit them within a single cell in the spreadsheet.
The category-specific spreadsheet should provide the newest requirements for Item Specifics. There are the "Required" ones and the "Recommended" ones that will appear in the spreadsheet. Down at the bottom of the online listing form, there will also be "Additional" and "Add custom" item specifics. To add those, use the same (C:) header as appears on the online listing form, and then try to match the exact spelling as offered in the drop list (drop lists are provided so as to avoid multiple spellings).
eBay updates item specific ranking based on what buyers search most, so you may see the recommendations moving around every so often.
