If you see a vehicle on Marketplace, the person you respond to will say give me your email and will have buyer contact you. You'll get an email like this which in my case qas a too good to be true 2000 Ford F150 LARIAT.     "Hello, my name is Wendy and I'm emailing you about my 2004 Ford F-150 SuperCrew Lariat with a gas powered 5.4  liter V8, and super low original miles, only 92,589. Never had or needed any paint/body work done, garage kept always, without any mechanical problems, tires and wheels are in great shape as well, electric is working perfectly. The engine runs very well and the automatic transmission shifts perfectly. Has a clean and clear title in my name and there are no liens or loans on it. This truck was used by my husband who died 4 month ago. Besides, I hope to find a new owner as dedicated as my departed soulmate was. The price was reduced to $1000 ( one thousand dollars ) FIRM because I'm in a hurry to find a buyer. I need to sell the truck quickly, I will be leaving on military duty with my medical team out of the country for a year and do not want to store my truck. I pretty sure this one is a scam thought I'd post it on here for people to see. The ad was from Facebook market place and emailed the seller. Email response from sell was:   "Hello,I have received your email regarding the 2009 Honda ACCORD EX-L with only 115000 miles. The car is in perfect condition with clear title and carfax, no accidents, no liens or loans and it has just been completely serviced. Never had or need any paint/body work done, garaged keep always, without any mechanical problems, tires and wheels are in great shape as well, electric is working perfectly. The engine runs very good and the automatic transmission shifts perfectly. The price for the car is $1000(including delivery and handling to your address). I’ve come across a very common scam from people selling Mezco action figure as “pre-order” items, unfortunately I got nailed twice before I realized how it worked. For those who don’t know, most Mezco figures are ordered through their company web site, but they make the process very limited and many people miss out, so it’s very common to see sales on eBay for Mezco items that are NOT physically out yet. Because eBay’s policy does not address or protect buyers after 30 days, (60 if you count appeals,) and these types of sales cannot be finalized in that time period, the system completely zeros out the transaction and there is no way for the buyer to secure the sale, so the seller simply walks off with the money and doesn’t deliver on anything. eBay should not even allow pre-order sales on items that the delivery dates fall outside their transaction period by months later. I would never have made those purchases if I had know eBay wasn’t going to do anything to secure it simply due to a time frame they refuse to acknowledge or address.
